Stand Architecture and Art Direction
Stockholm Furniture Fair 2016
Lammhults | 2016
To highlight the new collaboration Lammhults invited us to design the overall stand architecture for the Stockholm Furniture Fair 2016.
The opportunity to create a completely new concept led us to experiment with taking an artistic and playful approach to architecture. Inspired by the work of Bauhaus-artist László Moholy-Nagy, we developed a set of two open pavilions which merge and blend into each other in terms of both form and colour.
Our goal was to have an exhibition area that will inspire visitors, as well as a space in which the displayed pieces of furniture reveal their full aesthetic and functional quality. To this end we selected a range of more than 100 colours and a variety of materials, combining them to achieve a distinct, vibrant design.
